In July 2004, professional Kiteboader Dirk Hanel visited the Olhuveli Beach
& Spa Resort.
It is always exciting to see professionals and it made me quite nervous,
because maybe he seemed to be so "cool" from the kite magazines...?
But as soon as I met him, he made everybody get relaxed.
He is so funny - Sunny Boy.
Since, we still keep in touch, we are good friends.
The day, it is not strong wind, he took a canoe instead of the kiteboard
- Canoe Kiting ! When the strong wind came, he was jumping / flying so
high. Unbelievable. It was worth seeing it.
He gave me a lot of energy & motivation for my kiteboarding life.
During his stay at the resort, many Italian said, he looks like a famous
football player : Totti - AS Rom / Italy.
Kids wanted to have a autograph from him. Very funny.
I still don't know, which name he wrote....
